Non-payment of rent

Payment of rent is due on the agreed upon date found within the lease with no exception apart from the discretion of the landlord.

Constant and repetitive tardiness may warrant the resiliation of the lease if so requested by the landlord, even if the tenant pays the rent prior to the judgement.

If you wish to request a hearing in front of a judge of the Rental Board regarding the non-payment of a rent, the delay varies between 30 to 60 days from the date of the deposit of the demand.
