Me Sylvain Schneider is the founder of Schneider Attorneys Inc., established in October 2004. With over two decades of legal experience, he has built a strong reputation for delivering strategic, results-driven representation across complex legal matters.

His practice focuses on Real Estate Law, Estate Law, Construction Law, and Civil and Commercial Litigation, serving a diverse clientele that includes individuals, property owners, real estate professionals, contractors, and commercial landlords.

From a litigation standpoint, Me Schneider represents both commercial and residential clients in a wide range of disputes, including landlord-tenant matters, latent defects, real estate commission claims, neighbour disputes, and property-related damage claims. He is also actively involved in estate and succession litigation, representing heirs and liquidators in contested matters.

In addition to litigation, Me Schneider provides extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements, including commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, brokerage and commission agreements, employment contracts within the real estate sector, and non-disclosure agreements.

In the field of construction law, he advises and represents condominium syndicates, property owners, and contractors, particularly in matters involving legal and conventional hypothecs.

Over the course of his career, Me Schneider has successfully appeared before the Régie du logement (Rental Board), the Court of Québec, the Superior Court, and the Court of Appeal, advocating for his clients with precision and efficiency.

Prior to founding his firm, Me Schneider served as in-house legal counsel for a major international financial and insurance services organization, where he focused on securities, insurance, and business law.

He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Montreal in 1996 and is a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec.
